A second solar asset in Moquegua

Solar II sits alongside Aurelion in Moquegua, in the high-irradiance band of southern Peru. As with the two wind assets in Lambayeque, the logic of developing a second project in a proven resource area is that the hardest-won knowledge carries over: resource data, land and community relationships, grid understanding and a mapped permitting path.

Between them the two Moquegua assets represent roughly 600 MW of solar capacity in a single department.

Where it is in the cycle

Solar II is the latest-stage asset in the current roadmap, targeting Ready-to-Build in 2029, one year behind Aurelion. Sequencing assets rather than developing them simultaneously allows the lessons and the supply-chain relationships from the first project to be applied to the second, and spreads development spend across the cycle.

The group targets full commercial operation across the platform by 2030.

Platform

Development sits with ZFC Energy Group, with construction and operating capability held inside the group through Fitcon Energy. ZFC operates as a long-term owner with permanent capital and no fixed exit horizon.
