Renewable energy projects in Peru
ZFC develops utility-scale renewable generation and storage in Peru through ZFC Energy Group, with construction and operating capability held inside the group through Fitcon Energy. The active portfolio comprises four projects (two wind assets in Lambayeque and two solar assets in Moquegua) within a pipeline of more than 870 MW, targeting over 2 GW across Latin America by 2030.
Two resource areas, four assets
The portfolio is concentrated in two of Peru's strongest resource areas rather than spread thinly across the country. On the northern coast, Olmos in Lambayeque offers a consistent wind profile and hosts both wind assets. In the south, Moquegua sits in a band of exceptional solar irradiance and hosts both solar assets. Developing paired projects in each area means resource data, land and community relationships, grid understanding and permitting experience carry from the first asset to the second.
